I was heading home driving through my city and i ended coming towards a light and passed the back of a E36 328i and as i pass him he changes lanes and ends up behind me.. the light turns green and I drive off at normal speed, suddenly out of no where a woman in an Explorer cuts me off and i just got road rage pissed, so I down shift to 2nd and floor the car while swerving out of her way.. then i guess this BMW guy hears my CAI, so at the next light, he is next to me and i time the yellow at the other light and i take off, i pull about 2 cars on him and at about 50 mph going up the street i see a Cop getting ready to make a left turn, i quickly pull into a gas station and decided to get some gas, I was on E, there i see another maxima owner fulling up with 87 .. arrggg.. i gave him a short lecture in Octane and knocking and he said thanks.. as i pull out the gas station and keep going.. i see the BMW coming the other way i guess he was looking for me.. he then pulls into another gas station and turns around.. but he gets stuck at the light and i took the next right hand turn to my house..

that's not cool. I know people who have died because people were driving when they shouldn't have been.

A 330i 5 speed will beat a 2k 5 speed...My dad has one and my brother and i raced from about 40-80 and he had a half car. We then tried from 80-100 and the 330 walked my maxima.

well if he is turboed and I am N/A and i put 10 car lenghts on him.. i think he is boosting - 10 PSI yes Negative PSI ... muhahhaah.. because his car is SLOOOOOOWWWWWW and i got intimidated when he reved on me at Dunkin Donuts and because his Greddy sounded so mean i said to my Passenger his bark is louder than his bite.. and then i decided to put car lenghts on car lengths on him .. ahhahahah...

Sprintmax I forgot to mention my dads 330 has the 5 speed steptronic. I agree that a good launch is dependent on the driver. I havent raced my Maxima against the 330 from a standstill, but at highway speeds the maxima will lose.

 

well i am not sure about the trap speeds, but i would think the BMW would be faster off the line being RWD.. i still say its all about driver.. what rpm do you shift at?
