Whoever needs a 2 ton jack and stands
I just picked up a new set from Wal Mart for 20 bucks it came with a 2 ton jack two stands and two wheel chocks and a bag to fit it all in. Just wanted to get that info ouy there in case people were looking for them I thought that was a good price.

Not all jacks are created equal. It should be interesting to see how a $10 jack works ... just make sure you're not under the car at the time.
I had one of those cheapo jacks from Autozone (Franklin or something) - went through 3 of them in one day, and finally had to get my money back. You get what you pay for.
The jack I have now I love - 3 ton heavy duty jack, suitable for professional use. Bought it years ago at Sam's Club for $49.99. They normally go for ~ $200.

They are AC Delco I think they shoul do fine thanks for the concern.

I got a Craftsman 2 14 ton with stands for $30 only goes up 15" (hmm...they're on the website for $55 now), works fine. Most of the cheap jacks are made in China, that's why they're so cheap. Doesn't make them bad but they probably would not stand up to working in a regular shop. A 2-ton OTC jack goes for about $350 discount, that's probably entry-level for a pro. Takes only 17 strokes to reach its 23" lift height though.
