Wow you bought a lot of wiring. I was missing accesories when I installed my system so wire terminals and things were added the next day. BTW, after a turbo theres not going to b many big projects left to do to the car.

i love that setup man, i just have a kwik Q, is it ok to have your subs hooked up like that, does it cause a difference in sound. ive seen one setup where im basing how my next system will be. he has two cones facing in and one cone facing out with the magnet exposed. it sounded good but he refused to answer my Q. here is a pic of my current setup.

(more pics on cardomain site)

that box is leaking pretty bad so i decided to make another and i just want to know if its ok to have the outter two subs installed with the magnets out and the center with the cone exposed. Next system is going to be a heavy hitter!!!
I luv ur system man, make sure u update us when u finish it up

P.S who was says audiobahn sux, BAHNS KICK @SS

i used to have my subs in a regular sealed box like yours, but then i went with the custom box with the subs inverted. The sound is about the same. Im just more careful when playing it loud because of the fiberglass....its pretty strong though..like 8 layers....

Definitely can't wait to see it with some paneling; for ideas here are two setups I did (and ossamah should have pictures of his somewhere, ones not from nopi):

Frenchie's

My old ones

Wish I could have just helped you glass something.. maybe later on down the road?

Mine will look like Frenchie's once its done. The paneling will be the same height and cut the same way around the amps.

Glass would have been nice, but didn't feel like the high cost and time of it. Maybe sometime over the summer, who knows.

Tony.. sup bro??

dunno if you remember me at the Douglaston meet but IMO i dunno the sound of the JL's but my assumption is your previous setup was more SQ related and this new setup is more bling and prolly SPL related...

with that said, I prefer your old....

you'd be the better judge tho...

btw peep the new JIC drop in sig

Looks really nice! I cant wait till I can set up my trunk, but I will lean toward very high sound quality. Can't wait to see your setup in person!

Uhhh, I dont know who you think I am, but I never had a system in my trunk before, much less JL's. Those pics above are Sadler's trunk, not mine...
My "previous" setup was an empty trunk....
I remember you, youre the guy who burned out of the lot...

Finishing the cover today and then carpeting it. Should be complete this afternoon, then I'll worry about making a wall for the box next week.

So Tony... have you given much thought on access to the spare? Or are you opting for the "I-got-AAA-fix-a-flat-and-a-cell-phone" theory?

At any rate, that's a nice set-up. Keep up the good work, bro! I'll see ya on AIM!!

When you have 19s, lowered car with kit I dont thnk that the spare would be of any help in the first place

That's where free Geico towing comes into play. The spare donut wouldn't get me 10 feet, lol.
