Hey, I think I got busted today by that Red Light Camera.
I was making a left turn, I was a third car over, I think it was a yellow light when I went over, but I am not sure.
I am in Toronto, if anyone has experience with this, any ideas, suggestions on how to fight this off? I was close behind another car, so it may not have even taken a picture of my plate, or maybe I am just over-reacting. In any case, I wanna be prepared for the worst, as I said, how do I prove them I was the second car over, or that I went on a yellow light? It takes a picture after 0.3sec a light turned red, so I am hoping I went on a yellow or that I was fast wnough to get over the line before 0.3sec.

well if it got you it got you , most likly a warning or naothign at all, you can actualkly buy licence plate covers that when looked at from popular camera angelks will show up blank thus you get away and the picture is worthless.....dunno the legality of it but seeing it in person was weird for the first time

I know that those license plate covers are definitely illegal in NY state, and are probably illegal in most if not all of the other states. I have no idea if they're illegal in the provinces too.

illegal

Yeah, it is illegal in Canada too.
Radar detectors and all that kind of stuff that prevents cops from catching you is all Illegal.

It is not illegal to sell it, but it is illegal to USE it!

yes

I live in NJ, the covers I have on my car are "illegal" but i've never been bothered once. Theres a chrome boarder around the plate that sticks out a little bit making it almost impossible to read from the top or sides, and there's clear plastic covering the plate kind of like a small dome... hard to read the plates at night because the chrome and plastic reflect the light alot. I didnt even know they made the plates so hard to read untill my friend was driving my car and i was behind it.
