Where is the updated website for BigDog? Love his car and he has pretty much exactly the same look I want for my black 2k. Would love to see more of the updated pics.

Your right a 4th gen is a 4th gen. I know my 4th gen is not the same 4th gen parked next to me. I strive to make my car a bit different. I know I have the same kit and all that crap, but once you open the doors and pop the hood its all over. Jose doesnt have the stuff I have.

I would have come, but the car is still in the body shop all primered and glassed up right now. I think it'll be 6 more weeks before I get it back. And the interior is at the upholstery shop being redone right now too. Hopefully there will be a meet in July or August and I can finally bring my car with the new color and widebody.

Jeff - dont take this the wrong way...I'm just curious. Is your car going to be just for show and what your company makes? I like it and all, I saw it at Nopi 2002....but not since then. I know you've been working on it a LONG time and you've swapped many things on it. But are you gona be rollin a lot more when it's done? Or is it gona be the show car only?

No, it's going to drive regularly. I'll probably drive it to the shop most days, and then on weekends too. There will be places I'm not going to take it, ie downtown ATL, but it'll drive a lot. I'm not interested in building showcars, cars get too weird that way. Like my GF's Integra, most of the body is molded, but she drives it every day without incident. People think it's a show only car, but it drives every day.

Most of the stuff does have a purpose to it. The flares will let me run wider tires, the CF hood is being vented to cool the turbo and motor, and a lot of the fabrication on the interior is there to hold stereo stuff and gauges. It's all functional. The showy stuff like the paint, audi fuel door, and shaved stuff is just there because the car needs to be wild since it is advertising.

After I get the car back and finished, I will be doing a lot of dyno tuning, and running the car at the track with the turbo and nitrous dialed in. The car is definitely going to drive, as much time and money as I'm putting into it, it would be a waste to not drive it.

Im sorry does your ride push 12psi? I'll take a blown charge pipe to a turbo 240sx instead of a 30+ mph ticket and possibility of lost license and loss of insurance.

Iced Tea yes. Not to mention half the people were too young to get into D&B. Since I was 25+ I was able to bring a few in.

Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed that. My car feels sooo much faster in the passanger seat, I dont know what it is, lol.

I agree that sitting in the passenger does increase the seat of the pants feel of a car. It's probably because you're not the one in control. The night we were swapping cars, we road in a 01 5 speed (stock), his 92, and then mine. Punching it from 4000rpms in 2nd and winding it out to mid 3rd gear in each car resulted in a completely different feel. The 01 was very quiet and sedate with a very smooth power delivery, but it didn't feel terribly quick. Bryan's 92 was fairly loud, buzzy, bumpy, and clunky (broken mount), but the acceleration didn't snap your neck. The car felt mildly quicker than the 01. As for my car, I can't describe it since I'm the one driving. All I know is when I punch 2nd his head snapped back into the headrest and I saw him reach for the handgrip on the door panel. When I hit 3rd he said something like, "man, this thing pulls really hard everywhere". It's too bad Bryan has given up on Maximas because he knew his stuff. He's now into 4X4s and he just aquired an old Nissan 260ZX.
