Ok ok, so this might be a lil ricey but I wanna try it out. Has anyone else tried this stuff. IT=t's supposed to make your tires shine a different color when it's sunny out. If so where did you get it, cause I can't find it anywhere here around me in Seattle.

I have been seeing this stuff for the last few months advertised in the mags I get monthly...Minitruckin'...sport truck...it comes in red, blue, green, and silver I want to try it too but I know with most tire gels it will come of on your fenders when you dive and by it having color it may stain your car maybe for show use and then wipe it back off...yes it looks real cool but if you get some I would not "cake" it on just put enough to get a nice gloss going don't "paint" your tire the color......try it and let me know...

i also saw it at autozone not to long ago.. its a gel with colored sparkle things in it.. looked cool on the box.. it is kind of like adding that spray that gives off that wet look on your tires... someone buy it and tell me how it is.....

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I use Black Magic Tire Wet on my wheels. The stuff works great. It is a clear liquid that you spray on, let sit for 3 minutes then shine your rims up and you're ready to go. It lasts for about a week, it's really good stuff; kinda on the expensive side. It runs 5 bucks a bottle, but you can buy value packs from places like Costco or BJ's Wearhouse.

Is there some type of glitter in the gel or is the gel actually colored? Sounds a little wierd to me.

Yeah, that's what I'm sayin it looks really cool! Yet, we don't have Autozone here in Seattle! ARGH! I was hoping to get it before Saturday's meet!
I prefer to use Meguaire's Endurance tire dressing with the applicator, I swear by that stuff, but I just wanted to mix it up a lil.

from the manager at pepboys a long time ago and i only had enough for one wheel. it is off the hook. i totally forgot about the stuff untill i saw the add in one of my car mags... teh red looks sick, thats the one i got. i'll probobly try blue too. its tire shine, but it leaves tiny tiny sparkles that reflect light. i'm gonna try and pick this up for the meet at floyd bennet field Hey Wicked1044
are you gonna go and show off that front end conversion?

I tried that stuff....basically, its just tire gel with glitter in it. Its okay, I tried the blue, and to see it you really have to cake it on there. It doesn't stain your paint, because its just glitter. The red might be brighter, but my Yokohama's sidewalls aren't smooth either, so that might be why it really doesn't show up.

How about this...since you are so particular about my car that you need to point that out to me in a "tire gel" post, we can make an agreement. I'll lower my car with Ground Control coilovers as soon as you get rid of your generic rims, and get some real car audio equiptment. Let me know!
