Exactly my point Bry.. even if did not have a CAI the filter is going to get soaked anyway.. it would just be best to dry it all before you drive the car..

that car brings back memories when my bro's old 88 mustang 5.0 sank right in front of my house...i almost cried.it sux living between the bay and beach..
