Glass Cleaning Question
#1
I've searched around for the answer, both on the .org and the web, but I still need some help.
I have Rain-X or some other chemical (silicone-based?) spotting on my windshield, and I need to clean it off. I've tried all kinds of "home" remedies suggested around the web (like vinegar), but it really sounds like a glass polish would do the trick. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble tracking one down.
In searching the .org, Deathwish & Shingles mentioned a Zaino Bros. product, but I don't have a buffer. The Zaino website and the posts make it sound like I NEED a buffer to use it.
I know that Rain-X makes (or made) a glass polish, but I can't find it at any of the auto places in town (Pep Boys, Advance, TrackAuto, etc.).
Anybody know a good alternative or a source for the stuff that I need?
Thanks for the help.
