Hi guys, just to let u know, and those that are still on gamesurge, the channel is moving to the undernet. Just follow the same procedures to join, except the server is irc.undernet.org. Same channel, ie its still #maxima.org.
Its moving there since its more stable and we can register the channel.
Please register with X when you join (the undernet bot).

everyone please idle in the channel we have 30,000 members but only 2 people in the IRC. just idle in there and let it run in the background if you dont want to chat.

for those of you who dont know how to use IRC:

1 - download - ftp://mirc.stservers.net/pub/mirc615.exe

2 - after installing, run the program. enter all your nickname info, etc. then cancel out the box. in the chat line type the following:

/server irc.undernet.org

3 - wait for the list of channels to pop up. then type in:

#maxima.org

and click join

thats all!!
