How do u figure out what size tires 2 put on rims?

For example .. 19 x 8.5 ... per tire rack use 235-35-19

but "My4DSC" has those rims but has 245-35-19 ... who's right? How am I supposed 2 calculate this?

mine are 19x8...not 19x8.5
with a 245/35/19 you will get *VERY* minor rubbing...
only with some fat asses in the rear seats...
or with a heavy load in the trunk...
only the rear will rub (if you have the correct offset)...
that can be cured by rolling the fenders i'm sure...
if it bothers you...
dont bother me cuz it very rarely rubs...

get some 235/35/19's though...cuz they're cheaper...
and no rubbing issues...
i just wanted that little bit more sidewall height...
