Finally Did it, 2X 12" Subs w/ Stock HU!
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to say thanks to all those who answered my whole slew of questions (some of them probably stupid)
But Its finally done ... I've got Two 12" MTX subs hooked up to my stock Bose head unit! Only cost me $15 in hardware too!
Right now I'm only running one single 2 Channel Amp, but I'll be putting in a second 2 Channel Amp so I can run, each 12" bridged!
Yay!!! Now my Maxima finally bumps!!!
Pics will be coming as soon as my buddy (who took them) sends em to me!
Questions, concerns ... pass them this way ... I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge!

Its simple...
In the trunk, splice and extend 4 wires from the + and - terminals of both rear speakers.. I forget which colors. (Its not hard to see which color wire is connected to the terminal) Then splice and extend the RED wire going to the BOSE amp under the rear speaker. (This will power up the amp, its remote turn on lead for the BOSE amp)
Go buy a RCA line convertor, which converts audio speaker wire to RCA female end connectors. Its pretty simple.. Connect the positives to the convertor.. Then the negatives.. Then run a dual male end RCA wires from the convertor to your amp (not a good idea to run the wires directly from the speakers to the amp if it supports high level input because for good bass, it requires low level sound input)
And there you go, you got audio signal to your amp! All you gotta do now is run power wire, ground, and the extended remote wire to the amp.

I bought Bose front tweeters, and mounted them behind the rear speaker grills, screwed to the rear deck. You really cant see them either. I wired them to the same wires from the Bose amps that power the rear speakers. I tell you it sounds soo much better. Im not kidding, they should have come from the factory there.

I pretty much wanna do the same thing as you; I want to add a little more bass to my stock bose HU and speakers. So its as easy as getting a line out converter and splicing only the rear speakers?
What do you think about the long term effects of your bose sound system? Do you think it can damage easiser with this setup? That is my main concern.
Thanks,
