Exhaust tips, which ones look good?

Im getting a dual exhaust extended soon and i want to get some tips so i can get it all done at once. I really like a MB 55 AMG series tips with the 2 ovals on each side. If you know where i can get those (or that style) besidres $100 each at the MB dealer then let me know. Show me some good ones also, maybe ill like something else, include its brand name and where u got it from + price.

one thing about the oval shape is that it may look funny in the roundish opening if the oval width isn't close to the circle diameter...

I think any dual tip set up will look good on a 4th gen, as long as it's not two 5" tips. As for the bumper hole, just make a template and make it a bit wider to fit whatever you buy.

Magnaflow has a good selection of SS tips. OBX does too, but they look expensive.

Recently I've also been thinking about this. For a few years now I've had the 2000 SE muffler with the chrome oval tip on my car, and I've been thinking I wanted to change the look a little. I was thinking to remove the OEM chrome oval tip and install a pair of nice aftermarket tips. Most important, doing this should not alter my exhaust tone since I'm just removing/replacing an external piece.

So what are some of the tips I've been looking at? IMO a roll lip looks so much better in certain application (more on that later) compared to a straight lip. So I'm stuck with either installing a pair round or ovalish tips. I've decided to go with the sqaurish tips, something like this

My only problem is finding a pair of tips like this small enough to slip over the 2000 OEM muffler exhaust tips

Visiting your local rice shops (PepBoys, AutoZone all included as rice) will give you a varity of tips to choose from at a reasonable price

Back to certain applications. Since you're planning on installing a dual exhaust and you stated you like the MB AMG with the two ovals on each side, IMO that would look to "busy" on a mid size car. Especially if the AMG has rolled lips like the one I posted.

A single tip on both sides would look sweet and would match a mid size car better compared to two tips on both sides. Something like this

IMO

I dont know, 2004 maxima has 4 tips. Im not into the square but might get 2 single tip ovals or rounds at 2.5 or 3". Magnaflow or OBX, how much would those tips run me? Whats a reasonable price for a tip? Also like you said, i dont want any change in tone/noise.
