I'm planning on getting all my exhaust components ceramic coated for my new engine (headers, y-pipe, test pipe, b-pipe). If I go with a non resonated b-pipe, will having it ceramic coated reduce that tinny sound when running a straight thru muffler? I used to have a Apexi N1 with my non-resonated pipe and it sounded like crap at WOT. Now I've got a '00 muffler on but I may want to be able to go with a straight thru for the track but I don't want to have to worry about it sounding like crap.

Probably not much. It doesn't really add enough mass to the pipes to do any sound deadening.

Think of how the stereo guys use Rammat inside their cars. It's thick/heavy for a reason
