Dealer wont update ECU after MAF tsb
I had a MAF replaced with the updated one. I found out that they didnt update the ECU(ECM, PCM, teh computer). I spoke to the service manager and he tried to convince me that MAF replacement doesnt require ECU update, only reset. Is there a chance that he is right? Does anyone have the MAF tsb(NTB01036a)?

Where as a NEW/Updated MAF will work ok (as real world results seem to indicate), there IS an updated ECU program depending on your ECU serial number and MAF part number. You will have to look at the tables to see if your ECU/MAF combo is the most up to date.
Good Luck!

Yeap, thats how I found out my ECU was old in the first place. But its not the MAF tsb and the dealer wont look at it. If I had the MAF tsb, I could print it out and staple it to his forehead. Why did all MAF tsb links go dead recently?...(Nissan conspiracy)

1) Go elsewhere
2) Fight the issue saying that the ESM is out of date blah blah blah...
3) ignor it
Good luck!
