Avoid at all costs: ClutchNet.com 's kevlar-kevlar sprung hub clutch. It has been over 2000 miles and it still slips on 1/2 WOT to WOT in 2nd 3rd, 4th etc when it gets hot (car hasnt been at freeway speeds for some time)

If you wanted to cripple your car's performance and turn it into a grannymobile, getting this clutch is the way to go. It is the weakest link! Goodbye!!

My question is, did you break it in/seat it properly? We installed on of clutchnet's 6 puck clutch on iansw car, and aside from chattering, the clutch holds extremely wheel, and he pushing some 370hp at the fly. Did you have any problems with the install?

professional install. Broke in methodically and carefully.

IMO avoid the KEVLAR disk. Kevlar=not grippy especially at temperatures.

the other bad news is it probably will last 200K miles

That sucks dude. Well, if you get tired of it enough, you'll probably get a new clutch anyway.

Yeah but im still out the $$$ for the clutch and I dont have any $ for a new clutch.

Plus, I have the MEVI all ready to install but whats the point? Arrrgh. After all the $ I put into my car its pretty frustrating, in fact I cant fully express...

Yeah, not much you can do about that now. It honestly does suck. You could try selling the clutch, but knowing what it's doing, I doubt anyone would want to buy it. I guess see how it goes. Maybe this clutch requires a longer breakin time. I can really understand being frustrated. I've run into that many times with my car, my family's two cars, and iansw car. So I feel your pain.

Erjan, battlemax had the same problem with his act hdmm cltuch... He thought it was the clutch too, but it turned out that the pedal needed to be adjusted. Please look into that I know a few ppl with clutch net, and have no problems.
