By overwhelming request we are initiating a new group buy for all members of this forum. We have 15 interested members and the list is growing:

I know there are 23 interested, but that hardly means all will commit. If ten people commit, order, and pay, every member will get 15% off the retail price of $659.00 droping the price to $560.00 + shipping. Two-tone will be FREE and embroidery on the front seats will be FREE as well. In the last group buy 11 members committed but only 5 members bought. We still gave them the 15% off, but that cannot happen this time. Last time it took a month and a half to close the deal, if you guys want this one to close faster you need to contact us asap.

well what happens if 15 out of the 26 does commit? what happened to the lower price you originally mentioned?

We don't really know what you are refering to...
We have given you guys the biggest discount that we offer at any time to any person or persons. No matter how many buy after the 10 members the discount does not exceed the 15%. We have however made an exception for you guys. We are willing to drop the price another 5% if 20 members buy. That is not if 20 sign up, that is if we recieve 20 confirmed buys from Maxima.org. We don't really know when you guys want to close this deal so any feedback would be appreciated greatly. We were thinking with 27 on the list surely 10 will commit so why not close the deal next week. We would start taking orders between the 2nd and the 7th of April. In other words Monday through Saturday. Let us know what you guys think will work the best.

First, I have OEM leather.
1. Can you remove the OEM front center arm rest cover? Or do the new kit just covers over it.
2. Same as #1, but for the rear arm rest.
3. The back of the front seats. Does the new kit form as the same as the OEM? I remember seeing at Maxus, the rear of the front passenger seat was different than OEM.

I was wondering if the Maxima back seat is the same as the I30's back seat. Is there adjustable headrests on the backseat just like there is on the front seats? because there are those on the I30's. Would I still be able to join the group deal even though the leather kit that I would get for my I30 would be different than the Maxima's?

1. The kit does not include the front armrest cover. That cover only comes with cars that have a cloth center console. The maxima has factory vinyl.
2. The kit will of course come with a new rear armrest, but you will have to remove the factory cover to replace it with ours.
3. Being that your car is a 99, your kit will be different, but the difference is good. You will have magazine holders on both drivers and passenger sides. The covers for your car will be pull over and hog-ring underneath style. You won't even need to use the cardboard backing peice that is currently on your seats.
As for I30 interiors, they are different, the main reason being the adjustable headrest that you mentioned. If we had a pattern for the I30 we would be more than happy to have you join the list, however we don't. There was hardly an I30 made without leather factory!
As far as pics, we have a veritable plethera if you will email us at sales@leatherseats.com

Who is "we?" In the auto business there is no price, be it 10% off, 15% off, etc. I just went to buy a 3-row radiator and the shop wanted $299. We are going to begin to take orders next week to close this group deal. We will give every member the 15% discount up front, and we will end ordering on Saturday the 7th of April. If the 10 buys required has not been met then we will have to pro-rate the discount according to how many actually bought. We really really doubt this will happen with so many interested. On the other side of that coin if you guys manage 20 buys then we will take off an additional 5% for every buying member. That means every member gets their interior for $530.00 + shipping. That is an amazing deal, but it is up to you guys. We will take the orders first come first serve, it does not matter where you name is on the list. We open a 9am central time on Monday morning. We look forward to talking with you all. When you call in please ask for Eric to order your interior.

ok, i need to know!!! who's getting what??? color scheme and original exterior/interior color......
i have a sterling mist 99se with charcoal cloth interior. i am thinking of doing the dark graphite, with charcoal center panels, all the way up including the front of the headrest. perforated centers, of course. not sure about the embossing, maybe the nissan hamburger.....

Group deal going sour?????
The group buy will close on Saturday the 7th of April. We have only had 3 of the 28 interested call in and order. We don't care what day you order but if you are planning on ordering with the group buy would you please call in, ask for Eric, and give him some minimal information. We will not take money until your final order is placed, but we would like to get a head count here. For such overwhelming interest, we haven't seen much action.
