O2 sensor question for those w/ wrapped y-pipe

Just wondering if wrapping the y-pipe causes the oxygen sensors to fail at a higher rate or sooner than those who don't? My 4th gen only has 57k miles and the O2 sensors have gone bad already with the y-pipe wrapped. The pipe has only been wrapped for maybe 30k miles.

I guess there are a lot of other factors to take into account like gas brand, octane, driving habits, etc. I would like some feedback if yours have or haven't failed, wrapped or not, mileage, and what year/generation.

Leave the O2 sensor's sticking out of the wrapped area.

I have a recently installed Budget Y-pipe. What about just wrapping the flex section? Isn't that where the sound mostly comes from at WOT?
