IMO other than the yellow paint and interior theme, it wasn't half bad compared to how it looked before. I mean lets get real its a 84 Maxima, they did pretty well with what they had. other than the the color scheme it was okay.

The funny thing is that people on other forums probably do the exact same thing when their cars are on. You guys watch Tuner Transformation? That show is only 1 step up. At least they put some respectable mods on those cars(keyword "some").

the only things I found cool about it was the "custom drop" they did, the dual sunroof (someone on here do that!) and the black velvet interior (minus the yellow piping). the rest looked ****ed up, especially the front

I never really like the paint jobs that they do, but I think some of the other stuff they do is nice, such as the DJ equipment was pretty cool. Not much you can do with a 84 maxima wagon tho...

Quote: I'll give 'em that sometimes they put some nice audio/video setups in these cars but other than that, the stuff they do is almost always ricey.
prime example, the "water fall" in the episode with the caddy, wtf was up with that?!

I didn't like any of it, like the rest of you. The front end didn't flow well at all, of course the paint didn't either. I did like the drop and found it interesting eibach came to the rescue and custom made some springs. I wonder what that will lead in the future.

I really hate that show, but it was interesting too see what they would do with it.

Wow they didn't know that Datsun=Nissan. Sad. Sad. Sad.

It's also funny how they spent $20k on the car, and when they put that exhaust in and revved it, about 2 quarts of oil burned......:P

Got Pimp Rice?

I agree also...I never really like their paint jobs, but I wouldn't mind having them install some of their systems in my car...But what I don't understand is why they spend all this money on making the car look good and yet it still runs like there is a hamster for its engine, why don't they ever work on that part!

lol. exactly! even if they put a lambo conversion kit on it and it broke down it would still be a POS with 20k invested in it.

Looks like a massive gap between the headlights and bumper, which puzzles me, because an accord bumper should match right up

.......and they have the nerve to hold a meeting at the beginning to discuss the changes they are going to make, like it's going to be some really nice work....

Guys. It's called "pimp my ride". It's done in the typical "pimp" tradition. Over the top, ridiculas paint jobs, overdone interiors with a shot to hell engine.

The show delivers EXACTLY what they say they would deliver. If you don't like it, that's your problem. Don't watch the show.

If you going to "Pimp" your ride, you would be bull$hyte if you saw you Max come out with a Honda kit and that whack paint job. Don't even [slang]front[/slang].

If I really cared, I woudn't be allowing those guys to touch my car.

I mean really, every car they use is some beat up POS. Who cares how it comes out? Anything is better than what they have now. Plus at the worst case, they get thousands of dollars of stereo equipment free.
