This roadkill will prove that anything is possible during racing. It was this past Friday, Sept 22 during our DC monthly mini meet. It was test and tune night at capitol raceway. http://www.capitolraceway.com The track was really crowded and there were around 250 cars. There were 5-6 Supras at the track that night which is a rare sight. Mostly big muscle cars and late model domestics at this track. The Supras all came together and possibilty MKIV.com members. They all took off their right headlight for the CAI effect. I got two runs in since it was so crowded. Only two runs for the whole 5 hours I was there. People come to the track to race, so I'm sure he was racing. I don't see why someone would wait 2 hours in the staging lane to get one run in and not try. He pulled a 16.1 with a 1.050 RT. Most of his Supra buddies ran in the 13s. I ran a crappy 15.7 with .552 RT. There was a Porsche 911 Carrera with roll cage that ran a 16.1. Some people just can't drive their sports car =)

Yeah, whats with that? 16s? Was he eating a donut while driving or something? But who cars about him. 15.7. Impressive. Not bad at all with an auto. I've gotta get that valve body and tranny cooler.. I feel bad drag racing my auto.

Tony

I was car 325 and I think Eben was car 349, so there was probably close to 375 cars there.

I smoked a Supra too. Killed him at the light. .508 (near perfect) to his .650. Beat him for the first 20 feet. He ran a 13.0 @ 124. Suffice it to say, I was off by 3 seconds.

I'm working on a GXE auto for GXE 5 speed deal right now. Tired of getting my *** kicked at the track. Not that I will be a Supra though. LOL.

Sheesh.. with those times, you'd think these guys had vettes with their stupid 1-4 lockout still active..
Even a mildly modded 3rd gen can beat a 14.8!

Speaking of vettes I think one of them did a Woodear-->>

at 99 or 00 vette blew something cause it smoked the last half of the 1/4 run. The guy just cruised the rest of the track trying to figure out what he was going to tell his wife when he had it towed home#;>)
