Thanks guys for your well wishes. I don't even know what actually happened will be reflected on the police report since I was carried away from the scene of the accident by ambulance. I couldn't really talk because of the neck brace when the police asked for my testimony at the emergency room. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed to be sure everything works out.

Sorry to hear about your accident Ange! Hope you are feeling better from the incident. Hope for the best and you are in my prayer! Better for the car to take the hit than the person any day.

It's cheaper and better to start from scratch with another Maxima than trying to fix the older one especially having two accidents. Another great looking Maxima goes down in history. Most of you guys were lucky to see it at the last NJ Maxima meet.

Heal up first and keep us informed on what's your next car project. You know that we will support you!

It was his fault because he came into my lane to clip me. However, the first thing the other driver said to me when I got out of the car is 'you almost killed me'. By the looks of the accident, it's hard for the police to clearly say who did what. It can go either way.

Don't be afraid of this guy and his allegations as it is a classic ploy to blame the other driver when things happen so quickly. That happened to me a number of years ago on day 2 of my holiday in California. A guy jumped a red light and plowed into the left rear quarter panel of my 1979 RX7 and claimed it was my fault. I stood up to him and two pedestrians came forward and backed me up. I had to drive around for 2 weeks with my rear bumper in my hatchback.

They were impressed when I pulled up to the clubhouse at Pebble Beach, lol!

When I got back to British Columbia, I reported the accident and my insurance company communicated with the other insurance company and I was ultimately paid out after about 2 months.

Maintain your innocence. If there are no witnesses, get someone to post some signs on telephone poles or whatever. Even hire an accident investigator as a final resort, if there is such a thing in your area.

rmurdoch and everyone... i really appreciate you all taking the time out in support of me.

I don't dare think to fast ahead as to what car I'll be driving around down the road and such. Tonight as I drove back home, there was a 4 car collision on the same highway. This was the 3rd accident (including mine) I've witnessed on the same 2 mile long highway strip in only 6 days. They need to do something about that strip of the highway. I will learn of my fate tomorrow.. will keep everyone posted.

2k3TitaniumSe - Yup.. that's my Si.. thank gawd for the lil hatch, otherwise I wouldn't know what to do.

For most people who get into accidents has insurance to cover for medical and liability related issues. I on the other hand has to deal with an insurance company who told me that my policy was cancelled due to non-payment and insisted that they had mailed me a notification. Not only did I lose a car, which I can deal with b/c that's the risk I took when I took collision coverage off my policy. But as of right now, I can't even get physical therapy b/c my insurance company denies responsibility.

The night the accident happened, my car was towed to a private towing company. As I'm parting the car out this week, I noticed that they had stole my dvd player, Sirius radio/antenna and Passport radar detector. This f#ckin sucks big time.
