Opinions on valvebody install

Is the valvebody install difficult or can i easily do it myself. I just don't want to f*** my car up again since i fried my ECU last week trying to install my SAFC . Just wondering if i should just pay a shop to do it and be done with it since i have never messed with the tranny .

Thanks
Chris

it didn't look too hard when i watched Jeff at maximum tuning install mine. Without a lift, I would never try it though. Let a shop do it.

Jon (dallas) has access to a lift in a shop with air tools, but I am not quite sure how to do this install since I don't really care about automatics.

It was actually pretty easy, just make sure to take your time and mark where each bolt goes. Make sure to take some vaseline to hold the little spring in place when you put it back together. I took out one bolt at a time, and put it in the new VB, then when I got the old one out, I put all the bolts back in it, and put the new one up. If you take your time it is easy. There is a link on here somewhere with pics of what to do. I think they were on the 4th gen mod FAQ's.
