Paint issues

I have a 4th gen max 1999 that is superblack.......

I can NEVER keep it clean and it has REALLY lost its shine....I really want to get it repainted but I don't want to take it to MAACO or some place like that cause im afraid itll get ****ed up.......also I don't even know if I still want black cause it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean but i really like it when it is clean.....what do you think I should do??

i don't know thats a hard decision, i wouldn't take it to macco but i don't know if u want to spend 2k on a professional paint job. i say keep it black cuz it will cost u a ton to change it, unless u know or can learn how to paint... sure wish i did.. btw mine has no shine to it either i really want a paint job

so paint your car another color... whats so hard about that, shell out the money and do it, if not start waxin the *****

That would be awesome but I work at walmart and only make $12/hr.....not much so I don't think i can afford it...=(

Maybe you can take a auto body shop class at a community college and paint your car yourself. I think it would be worth looking into if it's an option. Otherwise wax on wax off You may want to give your car the clay treatment (detailers clay) and give it a good wax job afterwards. After you get the paint all cleaned up I would say try that waterless car wash stuff, it works awesome on black cars. After you clean you car really good once it takes like 10-15mins for up keep afterwards and the paint keeps getting softer and softer after each time. Good luck bro.
