Fishtailed

hey as i was leaving work today i lost all form of traction worn out tires and my rear driver driver side slammed into the curb and skipped over it no cosmetic damge but now i got the loud roar from the rear of the car dont know what it is (i know stupid me for trying to speed on wet ground ) so anyone know what it could be

A loud roar? Can you be more specific? I wouldn't be surprised if you knocked a wheel out of alignment or something.

FUBAR'd alignment... dead wheel bearing.. bent strut.. bent rear axle... torn bushings..
could be many things.

i looked at the tires from the rear and they still look straight

tell them what happened so they'll have a better idea of where to look.

I would suspect a bearing to be the roaring noise. Do not drive your car until you get it thoroughly inspected for damage to the drivetrain components.

jack the rear up, take off the wheels and spin the axle. if you can hear noise, it's probably your bearings...that's what it was for me

that happened to me too after my car spun. I still need to get new bearings though

That could be a million and one things out of spec. The roaring could be your bearing but god knows what else you could've bent up. Take it to a place where they can try to align that back end up.

While it probably is a bearing, it could also be a damaged tire (torn belt, bubble, blister, etc.). That's easy enough to check -- just put on your spare and see if the noise goes away.

hub replaced noise gone problem solved entire cost $65;lesson learnt get a car with abs and dont speed when wet: total time taken 1hr to get the repl hub from junkyard and get it put on
