Installed muffler and now a burning smell.....

i just installed my muffler this morning and now i smell something burning. it smells exactly like burning plastic but i can find where the smell is coming from. could it be something to do with the muffler or just a coincidence. all replys would be appreciated. thanks

o yeah, i can smell the smell everytime i stop at a stopsign or light.. does that help with anything..

What you are smeeling is oil in your new Muffler. When ever I put a new muffler on my car it smells like a rolling BBQ. It gets me mad hungry.

its subliminal marketing, the local BBQ place in town is now selling performance mufflers with Pork in them to attract new customers.
