Changing belts...

anyone changed the belt yet on a 4th gen.
i'm talking about the accessory belt and
not the timing belt since there is none.
how many belts are there? one or two?
is gates a good brand?

I have a question for you, i have goodyear belts on my car, I'm assuming this isn't stock belts?

Not as easy as it looks.

It took me an hour and I rounded a bolt off of the tensioner and then took it to a shop and they did it for $40! I'd take it in if I was you. Others will disagree with me though

Haynes Shop Manual

That manual will tell you something totally different than MEGAMAX's site does. The funny thing is that MEGAMAX's site is right! To bad after 6.5 years I couldn't get that damn bolt loose. Even after loosening the engine mounts and jacking the engine I still couldn't get a big enough wrench in there to create enough torque to break it loose! Oh well.......
