Question on front sway bar bushing...

does anyone know if the open cut on the front sway bar bushing faces the front or rear of the car? this is for 4th and 5th gen maximas. i need to find out since the energy suspension verison needs to follow how the OEM part was installed. my mechanic installed new bushings for me so i couldn't tell how the OEM ones where installed at the first place.

In mine they were facing back (of the car) n/m
