Notchy/Hard to shift Manual Transmission

I have an intermitent problem with my 5th gen manual transmission. The shifter is notchy and has a hard time going into and out of 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear. There is no grinding going on, rather I have to use a lot more force to engage and disengage the above gears. Sometimes I really have to jam the shifter in the gate. I had a new clutch/pp put in about 15k miles ago along with MT-90. Anyone have any ideas what could cause this problem. Without putting the car on a lift, I feel that there is a bad linkage or bushing somewhere.

oh boy, these are the worst. I had the longest problems trying to get into gears. My T/O bearing was bad. HOpefully thats not your problem but u may want to look into that. Also you may have air in your lines? check your master cylinder for fluid. It could be just gears about to go though cause normally these symptoms are supposed to happen in like every gear, not a selected few. Good luck and free bump.

Had a new throwout bearing installed with the clutch, so I am pretty sure that isnt the cause. I will look at the fluids real quick.

Mike, do you know any good local shops to take a good look at my problem besides a nissan dealer?
