Hey, I am in the market for a tranny cooler now and need to now the best brand and best size. I recall reading a thread about B&M {or was it B&P?} tranny coolers. I believe they are black in color? I would like to get a black one so it will blend in with my black car. Also I recall a felow member posting a link to his site that had pics and directions on the install, does anyone recall this link? I searched for the info but I think there was flame in the post so it got deleted. Also were is a good place to order a B&M tranny cooler? Please let me know what you about this mod. Thanks

I would think Redline MTF (or Amsoil's 75W-90 oil) would serve your 5-speed just fine for your S/C I30....

The B&M tranny coolers you've heard mentioned here are for slushboxes only.....

You *may* want to install an oil cooler, but I wouldn't think it's necessary......

Emax,
We are just messing around =) It gets kind of boring around here. We know you would figure it out. No hard feelings. I have no clue when it comes to 5 speed.

You can add a tranny oil cooler to a manual trans but it's not really necessary; it's more worthwhile on autos.

I'd rather put in an oil cooler than a tranny cooler on a manual.
