UPS guy dropped my Sparco Monza
I was at the UPS customer counter on Friday picking up my Sparco seats with Cultr7's SUV. I told the UPS guy it's heavy. As he carried out the first one, it slipped out his hands right in front of us from waist high. The next one he used a dolly. Anyway, I got home and opened them up. The one he dropped looks like this.

HA!!! I work at UPS part time. If your box weighs more than thirty pounds or it is akwardly packaged I garrantee it will get the crap kicked out of it!!!!
Anyway everyone is right take it back and have them replace it. BUT!!!!!!! if you bought it for more than one hundred dollars, AND you didnt buy extra insurance they will only give you credit for the one hundred, and that is the amount if insurance that is provided unless you buy more.

That sucks. You said that he dropped it in front of "us" though so at least you have a witness.
My UPS delivery chica is hella hot. I'm always tempted to buy more stuff so she'll come by more often. She could drop on my package anytime.

Call up the place you bought it from, send them the pics of the damage, and tell them you need to have them file a claim on the damaged shipment.
if you can replace just that broken piece of plastic and the seat is fine, do that and it will save everyone some headaches. UPS will write off a $20 piece of plastic much faster than they will replace a $600(+?) seat for a small bit of damage. Of course if the frame is bent (possible), then make them replace it... but don't try to bend them over for $600 to replace a $20 plastic part- they're big corporate and they've got hundreds of lawyers. you know who's going to win if you fight them on it.
In any case, it's the shipper's responsiblity to file the claim on it, not yours. os call up the place that shipped it, tell them what happened, and have them get the ball rolling. be ready to send pics of the damage..

Thanks for all the advice. Hopefully, Sparco USA has that trim piece. As far as I know only that trim piece is crack and rest of the seat if fine. But sometime it would be quicker getting a whole seat than trying to get one small replacement part.
