Gas for your max.

How much is gas for your max where you live? I live in southeast tennessee and reg. unleaded is 1.72 last I checked. It is going down, but I still consider it rediculous. I can remember when it was only a dollar a gallon and I'm only 17 years old! Just curious to know about prices around the rest of the country.

Just paid $2.26/gal for 93 octane up here in western New York yesterday. That's down a good 10 cents from when I purchased the car a month or so ago so I can't complain.

of course, the day after i fill up for $2.03, it drops to 1.99. Today at Tex, it's 1.93. I hate that. Why can't my Max be smart enough to get to E on the cheapest day of the week? Boy I miss those $.99 days.

$2.10 - $2.35 a gallon for 91 Octane here in San Diego. Man, I can't believe someone puts 87 Octane in their car. My car almost died off 89 Octane (EGR valve crapped out). Sometimes I add a bottle of Octane Booster just to see if I notice a difference.

There is one Mobil station in Martinez on Alhambra Ave that's selling 91 for $1.99 but all the rest brand name stations in the Pleasant Hill/Concord area are $2.28-$2.49.

I dont put low grade in my car, thats just the sign that has the price in big letters when you drive by it, hence thats the one I put on here. I get my gas in north Georgia, though I live in Tennessee (about 10 mins from both the Georgia and Alabama lines) because it is cheaper by about 5-10 cents and I have to drive through there to go to work anyway.

super (92) is $2.28 here. Down quit a bit from the $2.60 high about a month ago, but still outrageous.

Hey, did anyone else notice that gas prices dropped about $.08 this weekend, from Friday afternoon to this morning? Don't know why, but don't really care!

Chevron 93 oct @ $1.91 this morning in St.Pete/Tampa

Here it's about US$0.49/Li or US$1.97/Gal for 95 Octane Premium Unleaded as of this morning. Oil prices to go up further in the week or middle of the month. Prices went up by an average 7 cents per gallon.

All prices converted to US$ so there may be some discrepancies.

And to think a maxima has a 70-Liter fuel tank capacity (sigh).
