What parts will i need for maintenance

I am moving to graduate school and will not have much money and would like to find out what kinds of things i need to go ahead and haev on hand so i can do all of my on maintenance. I have belts. I am getting new front rotors and rear pads(just changed front pads). I have 2 quarts of synthetic mobil 1 so obviously 2 more and a filter. My car is at 70k miles and I just am trying to keep costs at a minimum. I want to also buy a pcv valve because i have heard people talk about it but I am not sure exactly were it goes or what the acronym pcv stands for. Maybe a fuel filter and copper spark plugs.
please list pricing

Dude, just bring it by my house before you leave and I'll make sure it's road worthy.

One thing I would suggest at 70K miles is the ol water pump. On older cars you had to have the timing belt replaced and the labor for either of these is expensive so you usually have them done at the same time.

Any other view on replacing the water pump as preventative maintenance?
