Just out of curiosity, how much for a gallon of Xylene where you are? Home Depot doesn't even sell Toluene here in Texas, and Xylene goes for $10/gallon.

Yeah it's like $9-$10/gal in those stores. Technically Xylene's a better deal since you don't need quite as much.

So when you guys buy the xylene or toluene, do you mix it with some lubicant like atf or do you guys pour it in straight from the can?

It's recommended to mix in 4 oz of ATF or MMO per gallon of xylene.

i did the same thing. butt dyno indicates that toluene does seem to work especially with lower humitidy and cooler weather. when the humidity and weather temps went up the affects were less noticable.

How about toluene? I heard that small amounts of it are already in our gasoline?

i thought the benefit of having a JWT ECU w/ mevi was so the car continues to pull harder and gain more power as it passes 6500 rpm but it seems like the car dies a little, after 6600 rpm, the power falls instead of staying the same or getting higher....
