As I already anounced on the second gen forum I am experiencing some serious tranny trouble. I was wondering if anyone could pinpoint the problem or offer suggestions. It started off a week ago when the tranny would pop out of first gear while driving. It progressively got worse and now it will not go into first at all. BUT if I jam it into first just right and HOLD IT THERE, it will engauge. After that the other gears work just fine. When it slips out of first gear it makes an awful grinding noise and I get lots of vibration in the shifter. BTW my max is on its third tranny rebuild and the last one was done just under 2 years ago. Any comments or suggestions are apriciated, thanks.
