I know its a little of topic, but I thought that the orgers would help. I found a car for my girlfriend, just what she wants. Its a VW golf 98, auto, 92K miles, 4cyl, 4 door for $4,500....my question is, has anybody had an experience with this car? IS IT A RELIABLE CAR, or is it going to break on her every other day? What to look for when buying it and finally would you recommend it? I know about maximas, but not about golfs. Thats the only money that my gf has right now, I don't want to buy her some pos.
Please help.
