Welcome to the club. Bend over, drop your drawers, and take it like a man because your insurance is about to skyrocket. Especially if you are young. I just got a ticket for 99.1 mph in PA. Hopefully the points do not transfer back to NJ or I may soon be divorced.

The only thing that I have heard, but don't know if it works is this: Pay the ticket through the mail...only pay more than you are supposed to. Most counties will send you a check for the difference back. If you never cash that check, then the case remains open and the file stays at the courthouse instead of being forwarded to DMV. It is a longshot and probably wouldn't work, put it is worth paying an extra $5 to try.
good luck,.

That doesn't work here. That used to work in Australia, but not here. Probably was a rumour spread by the government to just get people to plead guilty and pay up.

I guarantee that the passing a stopped school bus ticket WILL NOT be dropped. In traffic court, its akin to DWI in seriousness. My suggestion is to ask the DA or PO before trial to lessen the speeding violation to a non-moving violation, especially if it was your first ticket, therefore reducing at least one of the tickets. Of course that would mean that you would have to get the speeding ticket fixed before the school bus ticket. BTW, why would you pass a stopped school bus?
