This is a national Nissan meet. The REAL vendors WILL BE HERE. It is gonna be huge fellas. This in my mind is the REAL MAXUS. Why? Because we are gonna have a car show with tons of other Nissans, a dyno shop at our disposal, a 1/4 mile track at our disposal, autocross, and REAL BBQ (midwest folks do it best, sorry). You must sign up if you want to attend. Check out Russ's link. You guys are gonna be very sad if you miss out on this one.

(Just an FYI...This will be a real NISSAN meet. "Maxus" is the National Maxima Meet -- Max + US. Okay, now that that's out of the way...)

However, I do encourage everyone to support our brethren on this meet. Sounds like it'll be great and Louis has been working on this one for some time now.

Sounds like fun. Will there be any fees associated with this? Do you need to sign up for individual events like the dyno or 1/4 mile?

If everything works out in my favor over the next mo. or so I'll drive down for sure....it's only a 4hr drive from Chicago so it won't be that bad...If I can go it'll be fun to caravan w/a few Chicago peeps.......

Uhh-oohh... if this is going on, what will happen with the other Maxus in DC? Wow, KC. That is a good haul for us east coasters.

As far as I know this event isn't Maxus....

this particular event is a NISSAN meet. Like jambo said up top, Maxus is the national Maxima meet, this meet in KC is the National Nissan meet....as far as I know the "genuine" Maxus in DC is still definite!!

I was kidding about the "Maxus" thing. I figured it was the only way to get some these people's attention. It's $35 for registration which gets you:

- T-shirt
- sticker
- Jack Stack BBQ (expensive stuff)
- 1/4 mile track pass
- a spot in the car show

You have to pay extra for the dyno which is $30 for two pulls. The autocross is $20.
