Cooler debate.. stacked plate VS fin type

Looks like the stacked plate is a better design, but it seem slike most people use the fin type?

Anyone use the stacked plate type for their tranny or oil?

Opinions?

Fin

i use the fin cooler for my tranny but the stack is supposed to be a better. either way, any tranny cooler is better than no tranny cooler.

I have a Hayden 404 tranny cooler for my max. Its been on there for about 3 years and now I cant see my car without it. Oh it is the fin kind. Works great to me. It is also known as the 1404 cooler its good for Class C motor homes up to 22,000 lbs.
