My friend has a souped up Eclipse GST, 5-speed. It's a 96.

He has intake, exhaust, and a little bigger turbo.
When I drove it, that thing was MAD fast. It absolutely pins me to the seat, which my maxima cannot do.

I challenged him. Since we wanted to test the pure accleration of each car, we did a rolling start from 15 mph. We didnt' want any variables like traction problem.

We both punched it from 15 mph, and went on to 100mph, which is top of third gear.

Result: he had about 3 car lenth one me by the time we reached 100. He gained 1 car length after first gear, and another car length after 2nd, and another car length aftter 3rd, for a total of 3 car length.

I thought my Max would lose much worse, but it kept up pretty well.
Man, you gotta love that turbo. I need to get a y-pipe.

problem with big turbo eclipse's are the Turbo Lag... i have hung with one before with a Auto 2k Max... he had a 20g turbo
