Wow, that seems like alot of sidewall for a 19. Do you know if the same tire ratios were kept on that Dodge?

I'm not sure what ratio you're asking about... but the tires are 235/35/19 Pirelli P7000... Offset is 35mm

Are there any differences between the katana concept 5's and the Racing Hart C5's besides weight and price?

C5s are 3 piece and the finish overall is much better... I'll post pics with 19 C5s later... (this guy's brother has them on his TT Supra...)

Do you know how HEAVY those suckers are?!

The Concept 5 18's are already REALLY REALLY REALLY heavy...I don't wanna know how much heavier those 19"s are...

Re: Do you know how HEAVY those suckers are?!

Surprisingly... they weren't too much heavier than his stock 17s and he didn't notice much of a performance hit...

In that case, his stock 17"s must weigh a ton =)

You wanna talk about heavy...?

If you think those are heavy, check out a pair of 20 inch chrome Lexani Krystals. I don't ever have to worry about rolling my car...It would be impossible for those suckers to lift off the ground!

225/35 19 should be used for a lower side wall

What about...

The Katana Spazio in 18" Silver...are those too heavy? I am only going for the look and not for racing / performance. What do you think?

I've was 'criticized' back in the old board having a 'too european' looking rim... LOL

But I like the look of these too...

I was just wondering if he kept the speedo and odo accurate. That's the ratio I meant.

I origanlly wanted the Lowenhart's but the price was just too much! That's why I decided on the replica by Katana. I want to do mail order through http://www.victoriatire.com but haven't had any experience with mail order wheels even though it seems like everyone has had good luck with wheels and tires through the mail.

Anyone seen these on a car in chrome? (The Katana's ..) .. I think they'd be kinda ugly but I'd like to see em nonetheless.

Yeah, I actually saw the Lowenhart's in chrome on a Max on this forum. The Katana's are identical, except for the center "K" instead of the Lowenhart symbol. Everyone thought they looked really good. I don't remember the post but it was maybe a month ago.

Be careful with those lowenharts if you live in an area with alot of potholes b/c the lip are aluminum and bend easily, I have a set of the 18" lowenhart LGM's on my 98' 2.3 CL. I have bent the lip twice!

I just don't want the same old wheels that everyone else has on this forum, no offense but that's how I feel about it. Thanks for everyone's input.

Chunger, maybe we will be the pioneers for new types of wheels on the Max, lol.

Re: I want to be different...

Don't feel so bad, once I sale my MOMO's I am getting some Dazz Matiz which is the same thing as a Lowenhart! I think the Euro style looks good!

Thanks man. BTW, your rims look good. 19" huh? I might have to re-think the 18" I am planning on getting, lol. As I said earlier, I wanted the Lowenharts but have to settle for the replica wheels. No one will be able to tell anyway from any distance. Thanks guys.
