Advice Please on buying a Maxima!!!

Guys I was in the market for a used car, nothing facy but something that will get me arround and today i found a 92 maxima, SE, its fully loaded, leather, moon roof, bose sys. auto. asking price is $1600. Looks like a great price, but the killer is the milage ist got 219200. how good are these engines, will it last much longer, also tommorrow i will take a closer look at it, does any one have a carfax account that can check the vin for me. pleeeease.... thanks all opinions are welcome

i'd tell u to keep looking... or get it for cheaper than 1600. over 200k miles.. man, i can only imagine the problems comin outta it! The engines are great, but everything else has over 200k miles too.

if you just want it for a run around car not bad.. but you are going to drive around quit abit i would look for something else

The price sounds fair if the condition is right. A car with that many miles is a crapshoot. The motor could go out tomorrow, though with that many miles of history, such an eventuality is unlikely. The car could very well last up to 300k+. You just never know with a car of that age.
