To dry my max, I use very soft chamois. I don't know how good the blade is but I think I'll stick to my good old chamois. Does anyone have a black max and use the blade? Do you get any scratches left behind?

The blade is very soft, no scratches. My wife has a dark purple car, and there are no scratches.

You didn't hear this here, but this works....

Yall want to know what I do to get my car spotlessly dry? It works every single time, doesn't require a bit of work & you don't need to purchase a thing. After I finish with the final rinse, I head over to highway 92, which is just down the hill from my house, & run her up to 80 or 90 MPH for a minute. I turn around at the next exit, which is about a mile or two down from mine, and repeat the process coming back. When I get home - viola! The ultimate in blow drying, no runs, no drips, no errors, perfect everytime.

flyin dry

If i went down the highway and back at those speeds, both my windshield as well as the bumper of the car would be totally speckled with bugs again!!!!!

Bugs are not a problem here. Move to drier climes.

Easiest way to dry

Go to walmart...
There is this 8 dollar sponge called an autoabsorber
they have in hot colors like neon green, neon pink etc..
its kinda like a latex sponge.
after you wash your car
dry it with that
no spots
and you don't have to work as hard.
it lasts like 4~8 years depending on how well ya take care of it

I just want to add my support for the absorber. I have had mine since my first new car 5 years ago (Eagle Talon) and that was before they had hot colors!! It is awesome, washable, easy to use, dries without spots and is worth every penny of ts 8.00!!
