what's up guys, i finally had time to do the pop intake...first impression...when i gunned it i felt like i was driving a mustang..that **** really hauls ***..I bought an adapter from my local shop and a filter from from procarparts.com. My first question is are those filter good if anyone has experience with them? also i was not able to get the bottom piece off of the stock intake from the car since i dint have right tools so i just left it there..is there any cons to this? the filter i got did not fit the adapter on the outside but it fit from the inside. Instead of adapter going inside the filter, filter went inside the adapter cuz the mouth of the filter was small. can i have it like this? i put some tape on it to make sure that no air is passing through between the adapter and filter but not sure if i put enough tape. does it matter if the air goes through between the filter and the adapter, cuz i am sure that there is not enough room for some big thing to go through the middle since the filter fits in the adapter just right. please help me with this....thanx in advance..........
