I just finished my install and took the car around the block (so to speak). Let me say my car has way more topend than it did before. My car pulled to 6600rpm in 3rd gear (speedo was pegged at 126). All I can say that my car now pulls like a VQ does. Not only do I have my lowend torque still but I have an extra kick of power around 4500 and it keeps the engine reving till it hits the rev limiter. Also it seems my powerband has shifted up too, now a shift at 5800 bogs the next gear, where as a 6200 shift keeps things going. My car has alot of torque steer too. If anyone has a VG that they want to mod you won't be disappointed in ported heads and cams. Your car will have so much more topend its amazing. Now all I need is a VB mod and JWT ECU then i'm set.
