Lowered Max and changing oil

When I changed my oil, I used to use 2 ramps to raise my car up. I lowered my car a few months ago and I can no longer drive up the ramps because I risk scraping my bumper and bottom of the car. It could barely get up the ramps with stock height so theres no way it's going to work now that I'm 1.5 inches lower. What does everyone with lowered a max use to raise up their car? I was thinking about the oem jack but I just don't trust getting under the car with just that supporting it.

buy some jack stands and wheel chocks and you should be ok. DO NOT use just the OEM scissor jack.

Hydraulic jack, drive up on some 2x6 boards before going on the ramp, etc.. do NOT use the factory jack to change your oil. You will probably die a horrible, slow death if you do.

What springs are you using? When I had my Eibachs 0nd Stillen body kit I never used any jacks, the position of the drain plug and oil filter was perfect on the 3rd gen VE motor I never had to use a jack. I believe the VQ drain plug and filter is in a similar position as the VE motor. Now that I have Sprint springs I find it a little more difficult to drain the oil without lifting the car, so I use my jack and raise the left front corner so I can do all my buisness in the right front corner.

just jack the car up using stock jack and then take off the front wheel. much easier

what i do all the time is that i turn the wheel fully to the right, then take off the splash guard that is protecting the oil filter. its much much easier to do it that way. direct access and it doesnt even matter how low ur car is, ur biggest problem would be fitting an oil pan under the car.

I would invest in a hydraulic floor jack.
Its more safer and way faster to use than the stock jack.

Once the car is up its easy to slide an oil pan underneath.

I used to jack the car up using the jack point right in front of the car. After dropping the car the jack no longer fits under there due to it being so low. Solution, get on your back and push the front of the car up with your hands, yes it works. Just position the jack under "ball" in the middle and dop it on the jack.

If you position the rear wheels back, just onto your driveway aprin the front end will be up slightly. Then put the ramps down and drive up onto them.

It's all about the angle

Thanks for all the suggestions. I used jeff92se's method of first driving on 2 pieces of wood and then onto the ramps and it worked fine.

just get two ramps from pep boys made for lowered cars. Thats what I did it gives you just enough to get the job done. They are no more then $30.
You can all so use a floor jack lifting up both from wheels and slide you rampes under the tires. Then lower the car. You should be able to back off the ramps with out scraping.
