Did it damage the bumper? My oem bumper has two old coats of old paint on it now. I want to get it down to the bare material. Sanding it would take forever so I want to look into a quicker way to do it.

i used it on my stillen kit when i was getting it repainted. it damaged 1 of the rear bumper pieces, everything else came out fine. i don't know if there was something with the that piece or what cuz i left it on the front much longer and it didnt do anything to that. it def did make it alot easier than just sanding it so give it a shot

What kind of damage? Melted? Were you able still to sand the damage piece smooth?

it more the less ate away at whatever the outer layer or coating of the urathane. i couldnt sand it cuz it didnt really seem like the peice was misformed more the less an outer layerwas peeling on it, im not very familiar with urathane so i couldnt really explain. with proper time, materials, and knowledge if this were to happen i dont think it would be much to fix correctly. i just never bothered to even look into details.

aftermarket bumper covers only cost like $40 plus shipping...

maybe that route would be better.

Update!!!

I got tired of sanding and I gave the paint stripper a try. I used it on my Stillen lip and it worked really well. I went and bought two more cans to use on the front bumper.
