Leaking Gas !!!!
Leaking Gas !!!!
I filled my tank last night and Drove home and parked. Now im at work and i get a call from my wife saying that the fire department is going to tow the car because the tank is leaking a good amount of gas. This is something that seems to be going on off and on. it stopped for a long time now it seems like it doing it again. I was hoping that maybe someone knows what part it is and how i can fix it. Its not the tank itself. I think its the hose or something that goes from the fuel intake to the part that goes into the tank. I dont know thats where i was looking before. Someone please help.
Get under your car while smoking a cigarette and weld it back together with a blow torch
If its been going on and off you should've gotten it fixed, thats dangerous! Get under the car and look to see where its coming from, our gas tank isnt really hidden or in a bad spot. If its the hose or intake where you pump gas at theres nowhere you can go other than the dealer to get a new one.

Its the line that runs from the filler to the tank it drips right on the curved end of that part thats what i saw to the naked eye. I dont know what to do. I just called the dealer and have been looking around it seems to be that this is a common thing. Im going to get the filler line replaced as some people have goteen to solve the problem and see what happens.

Drop your car off at your local mechanic and let him fix it. From reading your post, it seems your not able to correct it. Thats a dangerous situation, fuel leaks should be taken serious. Have a qualified machanic repair your fuel system.
