Would it add any power if I have a tube sucking air in to the CAI while driving. Will it hurt the engine at all? (Kind of like a ram air Thing)

I doubt it'd be worth your effort.... could be, but probably not. For 1psi of additional pressure you have to be going 60 or 90mph or something. Also, too many bends in the CAI tubing for this to be practical.

i was thinking of doing the same thing and it really wounldn't be too much trouble or cost too much. cost me probably 20 to 30 bucks for tubing and 1 or 2 hours of labor. hell of a try though and give me something to play with on my max.

Thanks!
Hey, I never have gotten around to fiddling with the auto trans resistor mod, and then some guy on Altimas.net said he drove for 1200 miles with it unplugged full time and his trans got hosed up and he had to take it to the dealer for repair. It was still under warranty, so he lucked out, but yikes! What a goon.

Yeah, I've tried it. If you go to my homepage, you can see how I wired in a switch to control it. I talked to a Nissan Tech about it, he said the main problem with that is it builds up huge amounts of heat...and we all know that kills transmissions. I couldnt stand to drive around with that thing unhooked all the time...its a pain in the a$$.
