How do heated steering wheels/seats work?
just curious. is it just like a normal low power heater wire? any idea where i can get some of it from? thanks

not sure about the steering wheel, but the seats have heating elements installed.

I don't think that it's a type of wire (like in my old motorcycle winter socks) as the entire Steering Wheel seems to heat very evenly and the seats & seat back don't seem to have any "hot spots".

I'm not sure about Nissan, but almost every other manufacturer that offers the option uses heating wires that warm up the rim.

I suppose that if the rim is hollow aluminum that a heating wire attached within would heat the wheel evenly but how would they use a wire within the seats?
