What is the best and most economical way to sound dampen your car. I primarily want to filter our some of my exhaust sound and some wind noise.

take out the whole interior, and put down some dynomatt all over the car. also if you want you can put it in the door for more sound proofing.

Don't buy name brand "Dynamat", it's a rip off. Go to McMaster Supply. Search the site for noise damping...you'll find the the cheap generic industrial grade stuff that is exactly the same as "Dynamat".
