I don't doubt there are plenty of rich "kids," but you'll also see that these students are working F/T or P/T while attending school. One wonders if they work for the sake of having a nice car just for college.
Surely some will say they got a nice car for getting a scholarship or good grades...it's still not money saved, it's money spent.
Both of my parents are well-to-do professionals but they didn't bother to drop $25k on a nice car for me.
